Most comparisons of this kind are written by agencies, which means they are written to reach one conclusion. This one is written by an agency too, so read it with that in mind — but the numbers below come from Amazon’s own programme page, not from us.
Selling Partner 360 is Amazon’s paid consultancy programme. It is a real product with a real price, and for some brands it is the better spend. Here is the distinction that actually matters.

Amazon describes it as a premium, personalised consultancy solution: you are assigned a Marketplace Consultant who reviews your account, runs monthly data-driven business reviews, and works through a set of growth modules covering areas such as conversion rate and keyword optimisation. Enrolment also brings access to beta programmes and merchandising opportunities that are not open to every seller.
Eligibility, as Amazon states it, requires an active Professional selling account in good standing on Amazon.ae. Sellers running multiple accounts enrol each one separately.
The single most important word on that page is consultancy. SP360 tells you what to do. It does not do it.
Amazon publishes a base fee of AED 2,200 per month plus 0.3% of the previous month’s gross merchandise sales, with total monthly fees capped at AED 6,060. Billing is quarterly, with a minimum six-month commitment.
That structure matters more than the headline number. At AED 500,000 a month in sales you are paying AED 3,700. At AED 1.3 million you hit the cap. Verify the current figures on Amazon’s programme page before you budget — Amazon changes them without announcement.
If your listings are already well built, your PPC structure is sound, you have an in-house team that can act on recommendations, and your bottleneck is knowing which lever to pull — SP360 is likely the better use of the money.
If your listings are thin, your Arabic is machine-translated, your campaigns are one auto campaign per ASIN, or you have nobody with the hours to implement a plan — a consultancy will hand you a correct diagnosis and no cure. Fix the execution gap first.
Our own management retainers run from AED 4,500 to AED 15,000 a month depending on catalogue size and whether both Gulf marketplaces are in scope, which overlaps the SP360 band for a mid-sized account. The difference is not price. It is whether you are buying advice or buying hands.
Yes, and for larger accounts it is often the strongest combination: Amazon’s consultant supplies the internal view, the agency implements against it. The waste case is paying both to produce strategy. Decide up front which one owns the plan and which one owns the work.
The six-month minimum on SP360 means the decision is not easily reversed, so it is worth knowing the state of your account before you sign anything. We are Amazon SPN-listed — verifiable in Amazon’s own directory at sell.amazon.ae/service-provider-network before you speak to us.
If it is useful, we will run a free audit of your listings and campaigns so you can see whether your gap is knowledge or execution. That answer decides this question for you.
